Bad Dog? Obedience Training in St. Charles

Wentzville, MO - The St. Charles County Parks Department is hosting an eight-week obedience training class for puppies and dogs this fall at Shelter #6 in Quail Ridge Park.  Led by an experienced animal behavior specialist, the one-hour classes will run every Sunday (1-2 p.m.) from September 10 through October 29 and emphasize basic problem-solving skills and positive motivation to teach proper behavior.

 

Advanced reservations are required for the eight-week session, which is limited to 12 dogs.  The course fee is $90 per dog.  To reserve your space, please call 636-949-7535.  Additional information is available at www.stccparks.org.

 

Open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Quail Ridge Park is located just south of Interstate 70, near Highway 40/61 and Callahan Road, in Wentzville.  The 250-acre county park offers fishing lakes, hiking/bicycle trails, picnic shelters, a disc golf course, playgrounds, an Off-Leash Dog Area, and a Lodge that is available to rent for meetings and parties.  For information on St. Charles County Parks Department events, please visit www.stccparks.org or call (636) 949-7535.
