St Louis, MO - The St. Louis Blues have reduced their roster to 31 players as they head into the final days of the pre-season.
Assigned to the Blues’ American Hockey League affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen, where David Backes and Tomas Mojzis.
This is the second roster trimming over the past few days. On Sunday, the team cut their roster to 33 players. Also being sent to Peoria were Jon DiSalvatore, Cam Keith, Peter Sejna and Carl Soderberg.
What remains "odd" about the existing roster is the fact that the Blues are currently carrying three goalies instead of two.
